Briefly describe your work experience. Prior to Summit, I taught Earth Science at a public school in southern Idaho. Teaching is my second career as I was previously in the financial services.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?I would love to spend time on the main island of Hawaii to study the active volcanics and to be a beach bum.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Water activities such as rafting, swimming or just lounging on the beach. I enjoy traveling to different bodies of water, try to make the trip to the Oregon coast every year. Geology is a passion of mine so I tend to be on the hunt for rocks and minerals. Camping, fishing and riding motorcycles with my husband and kids.
What draws you most to this type of work? I came here to be part of the integrated, holistic approach to helping these young men and women build their character, shape their identities, and help them flourish academically.
