Where did you grow up? I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Tell us about your family. I met my husband and his two wonderful children here in Kalispell in 2007. We have since married and now have a young son who was born with a rare heart condition that has since healed. He is our little miracle.
Share something about yourself that might surprise people. Even though I am afraid of heights I went skydiving in California and I loved it!
Briefly describe your work experience. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor that moved to Kalispell to work as a therapist here at Summit from 2005-2009. I left and started my private practice and had my son. Then, I saw the posting for a part time position as an Admissions Counselor and decided that this would be a wonderful way to reconnect with Summit, continue my private practice and caring for my son.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?I have always dreamed of doing an REI adventure trip anywhere in the world. I believe it would be an exciting way to explore a foreign country.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, going on road trips, camping or hanging out at home reading, cooking, and watching movies.
What draws you most to this type of work? I enjoy working with a team that has a common purpose of helping families become a stronger and healthier unit.
